Located on a 13,355-hectare concession in South Africa’s Kruger National Park (SKNP), Singita Lebombo and Sweni lodges, welcome guests to participate in environmentally conscious hospitality, sustainable conservation and the empowerment of local communities.
Singita Lebombo and Sweni lodges offer an immersive experience in environmentally conscious hospitality, sustainable conservation, and community empowerment. The two lodges—Lebombo with 16 suites and Sweni with 7—ensure an intimate connection with nature, promoting wellbeing and a sense of place through limited guest and vehicle numbers. Guests enjoy exceptional game viewing and warm-hearted hospitality in spaces designed to bring the outdoors in, set against a backdrop of giant euphorbia trees. Partnering with the Singita Lowveld Trust, SKNP contributes to biodiversity efforts like the K9 unit and SANPark’s rhino dehorning program. The lodges are off-grid, utilizing solar power, recycling, and careful water management, aligned with SANPark’s water use quota system. Singita’s mission is to preserve African wilderness for future generations, with a commitment to environmental stewardship and community upliftment, exemplified by projects like the Singita Community Culinary School.

114 young local people have graduated from Singita Community Culinary School KNP since inception.

Singita KNP keeps local culture alive through design and décor, drawing on local artists and artisans to ensure the authenticity of design.
They encourage the expression of local culture through language and dance, introduced into the guest experience.

Over R4,8m raised through guest donations for the Singita Community Culinary School programme since 2018.
Nearly R6m in donations from the Safari with Purpose dehorning guest experiences since 2022.

At Singita Kruger National Park, the installation of over 3,888 solar panels and advanced battery storage technology provides over 1MWp of solar energy capacity to power off-grid lodges Singita Lebombo and Sweni Lodges and has significantly reduced the use of diesel generators by over 70%.

From collecting the finest South African wines and offering interactive wine tastings from its in-house sommeliers to creating the Premier Wine Direct service (SPWD), which ensures that wines enjoyed while on safari can also be savoured at home; the wine experience is a key component of the guest’s stay at Singita.
