Amazon Yarapa River Lodge

Eco Lodges

Since AUGUST 2012

The Amazon Yarapa River Lodge is an award-winning eco-lodge located on a pristine tributary of the Amazon River in Peru. Committed to conservation, the lodge has collaborated with local tribes to establish the Yarapa River Rainforest Reserve, protecting 120,000 acres of rainforest.

Offering full immersion into the Amazon’s rich biodiversity, Amazon Yarapa River Lodge’s eco-friendly, riverbank accommodations are powered by solar energy and built in local materials. A roster of meaningful and memorable guest experiences includes guided hikes, wildlife safaris, boat rides, and cultural experiences led by local tribes. Strong conservation efforts have led to a partnership with the manatee rescue center ACOBIA, with the lodge now acting as a manatee release site and co-manager of part of the Pacaya-Samiria National Park. Local communities are also supported with legal and medical aid, ensuring a sustainable future for people and nature.
